Sick

In the last 6 months, 3 people very close to me, 2 of my parents friends, and I myself, have been diagnosed or suffered from a medical emergency, 2 of which I got news of this morning. A family friend had his wife diagnosed with cancer, his father passed away and his mother suffer a stroke all within 1 month. A young, healthy girl who won’t even drink caffeine gets her sophomore year taken from her, my elderly, yet healthy relative was enjoying a vacation with his siblings when he suffered an aneurism. I don’t know when the world got so bad but all I know is life is really fucking short and if you are wondering if you should call that old friend or distant relative, you should.
